| | Four days after a ferry disaster in May 2005, Abir found this dead body on the river bank at Aricha, Manikgonj. The boat had gone down in a storm and 75 people were killed. Despatched on assignment and after a three-hour taxi ride, Abir arrived to find the rescue operation had not started because of lack of equipment. Three days later, he came across this body which was one of many which had floated to the surface. |
